I wound up just purchasing a x41 since the $150 spent on it is completely worth the superior quality of sound, the wireless simplicity of use, and the incredible 7.1 sound quality as well as the proven fact that any item connected to the front of the gadget also will run off of either 5.1 or 7.1 sound depending on the age of the merchandise. There's a slight alternation in the bass depending on how it is set.
Great purchase. The 10' cord is a big plus but I believe the "sound mode" function is worthless. At the same time, I additionally purchased the Sennheiser HD201 Lightweight Over-Ear Binaural Headphones. Comes with an adapter which means you could plug it to your keyboard, audio system, DJ Turntable systems, and so on. The specs say 3 feet so I was pretty disappointed with these cordless stereo headphones.
For the money they do the job. At first I was shooting for Sony MDR-V6, but reading the reviews made me go with these.
I disagree with individuals who said that the switch doesn't do anything!
They separate film and songs sound and convey totally clear audio. Not so comfy after 1+ hours of use (ears are good but head strap on these wireless mp3 head phones will get annoying). The cord is sufficiently long and I can certainly walk till kitchen with my headphones on and the laptop on the dining room table.
I've had Sennheiser previously all headphones I have a 23.5 inch head, so normal, and the band of these things is far too big. The switches on the headphone are completely useless. I've got a larger-than-average head, and didn't seem like they were squeezing my temples whatsoever, unlike most headsets I run across. So I bought this for like $20. The headphones have great bass and work good at tuning out my loud coworkers. These headphones could very well put your large ol' surround system to shame.
These wifi headphones are enormous! Nothing very special about these headphones, however for this price, it is the best available. This might seem trivial unless you have used other headphones and have had hair caught between the plastic. I got myself these Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones to use with my ipod and sansa. This can be annoying if you're constantly changing positions, or even lying down. Ellingsong They aren't bad for the price however the 10 foot cord gets kind of annoying plus they get uncomfortable before long.
In a nut shell, The MDR V150 sadly for me, are much better. They sound great and they are extremely comfortable!
This Sony will really feel flimsy on your head, you can't wear this long-term, and lastly the quality of sound is mediocre at best. The sound is gentle like an additional consumer stated, however it can be loud!!
