Cable is also much thinner, and these headphones aren't top end at all. They costed many times as much, though. I would suggest these headphones to friends, but would alert them of the volume issue first. I purchased these headphones thinking these were yet another set of headphones. Not an ideal headphones overall but certainly top quality sound based on the noise cancelling headphones review.
Perhaps I have lava ears though. I usually have a test I use on all my new headphones and speakers, I refer to it as "The Wound" Test. If you would like leather earcups, pony up the money for them. They are doing their job well in that department, and for $25 you cannot fare better for this application.
Also these Auvio wireless headphones came broken. These headphones have an extra long cord (description says 3.3 feet but mine came with 11 feet). Apart from blaring metal on these Sony phones I personally use them for computer gaming and for my PSP. General I would say these headphones are horrible. This makes it seem like you are trying to bring back a trend in the 70's.
They likewise have great isolation.
It is good product for this money. I feel like I hear so much more in my 360 video games with these on, however in the near future may think about a surround sound headset (for example those from turtle beach) to permit chat during gameplay. I've damaged two sets of these headphones by simply placing them in my backpack and carrying them to class or work. The quality is certainly not great, they're somewhat plasticy, but it is not bad enough to make them not worth it and it is expected because they're so cheap. The rf wireless headphones have excellent quality of sound and were really affordable.
I had been very pleased with the cord length too becasue it is really long and I could possibly get up and walk off to a large part of the room if I need to. They have comparable quality of sound as your 10 dollar rf wireless headphones you purchase at Best Buy. Thanks to everyone! I know they aren't the best sounding headphones and you may think that you get what you paid for, however the last time I had headphones such as these, they cost me a lot more than two times than these but they did not have the large 40 mm magnets and they were pioneer.
I had been pleased at how good they are.
Purchased this after the aggravation of having my ipod/gummy earbud break every other month. The rf wireless headphones completely enclose your ears. Well-crafted and good value - I suggest them highly.
They're comfortable and sound great on my small computer, my music player, and my tablet.
