The cable duration will go from my surround sound jack to my bed for easy listening during the night when I don't wish to wake anybody. I was looking specifically for over-head rf wireless headphones to help dampen the noise in the environment sometimes.
Noisy (obviously, I've had these for more than a year so that is to be anticipated). Do not cheat yourself, get them. They're large - the earphone goes completely around your ear. Comfort and ease, cost and quality were the main factors in my purchase and satisfaction with one of these cool headphones. Can tell the main difference on the settings.
Very fast shipping too. The cord is long, like 11 feet or something like that. Bought these instead of Panasonic RP-HT360 because a lot more people had bought these and were pleased with them, and since these were the only real headphones I'd found that a reviewer had measured the audio-response of. I wear glasses so studio headphones can be uncomfortable. Furthermore they have fantastic sound, andthe fit and sturdiness is impeccable. Quality of sound: I'd say overall it's more crisp, but one thing this is a bit more tangible is bass output. Did not notice any type of difference between film and songs. They get the job done with good sound, so therefore the 4 stars. They have enough bass for anyone.
These headphones barely muffle sound at all (primary reason I purchased them) plus they are big. It features a smaller cup compared to the sony.
I had been very pleased with the cord length too becasue it is really long and I could possibly get up and walk off to a large part of the room if I need to. Kudos to Sony for the Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones. Worth the cash.
I search for a while for a good set of reasonably priced headphones. These headphones are huge with a huge cable.
They fit nicely without binding. I'm certain the headband was created to make the entire unit more lightweght, but boy, I sure take care using the two thin strips of plastic which hold the right and left sides together. These headphones are good lower cost headphones for desktops or movies. Delicate midrange sounds are often heard. There's only really two bad things I'm able to find about these infrared wireless headphones. The sound mode selector switch from songs to film makes the slightest amount of difference in supplying deeper bass.
